Linnaeus University

Linnaeus University (LNU) is a public university that was established with the merge of Växjö University and Kalmar University College in 2010. Building upon extensive experiences and expertise of the two universities, LNU became one of the largest universities in Sweden with about 44000 students and 2100 staff members. LNU is located in Växjö and Kalmar and offers over 150 degree programmes and 1300 single-subject courses. Every academic year LNU hosts more than 1000 international students and staff members from over 700 partner Universities. LNU offers teachers, researchers and studentsrich opportunities to gain international experience, and to establish lasting international contacts with the aim of maintaining diversity and contributing to sustainable development.

Linnaeus University is an official partner in the New European Bauhaus (NEB), an interdisciplinary meeting place where the partners together shape their future sustainable and inclusive living environments. By cutting across disciplines and building on broad participation, the New European Bauhaus aims to facilitate and guide the transformation of our societies along three inseparable values: Sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion.
